Camgian CEO to Speak at M2M Evolution Conference

STARKVILLE, Miss. — Camgian Microsystems announced this week that CEO Gary Butler will speak at the M2M Evolution Conference & Expo scheduled for August 11-14, 2014 in Las Vegas. Butler will serve as an expert presenter on a panel entitled “At the Edge: Devices at Work”. The session will take place on August 13 at 11:15 AM. The conference provides a forum for strategic discussion among leaders in the global Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) communities.

Butler’s presentation will address the challenges associated with the staggering accumulation of “Big Data” with the coming proliferation of IoT devices, and how new architectures supporting distributed intelligence can be utilized to overcome these obstacles. Butler will also be discussing Camgian Microsystems’ new edge computing service, Egburt.
