STARKVILLE, MS, – 29 July 2020 – Camgian and IAI North America (NA) announce their selection by the US Air Force for participation in AFWERX Fusion 2020. The Camgian and IAI NA team were selected for their system concept for base security comprising low power unattended ground sensors (UGS) fused with advanced unmanned aerial systems (UAS). The proposed system functionality includes Camgian’s Prowl UGS cueing IAI’s ROTEM-L and Tactical Hive UAS platform for enabling automated wide-area surveillance and target acquisition.
AFWERX Fusion is centered around the Base of the Future, one of the top focus areas of the Air Force and across the Department of Defense. Approximately 300+ teams were chosen from over 1600 and will present their innovative solutions as part of an open showcase to attendees, including top Air Force leadership and other military decision-makers and operators.
