Our History
Camgian was founded in Starkville, Mississippi, establishing its roots in advanced technology and defense innovation.
Camgian expanded its engineering capabilities by acquiring Cypress Semiconductor’s Mississippi Design Center.
Camgian’s rapid momentum earned national recognition with inclusion on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies.
Camgian Founder and CEO, Dr. Gary Butler, testified before the U.S. House of Representatives for the first time, sharing insight on national security and emerging technology.
Camgian opened the Camgian Center for AI and Machine Learning in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, deepening its research in next-generation defense solutions.
Dr. Butler was invited to testify before the U.S. Senate a second time, discussing the pivotal role of entrepreneurial high-tech firms in enhancing U.S. technological competitiveness.
Camgian opened a new office in Lawton, Oklahoma, expanding its presence near critical Army operations and strengthening on-the-ground support.
Camgian secured a $55 million contract to support the U.S. Army’s Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) systems with AI-driven capabilities.
Camgian was named to the Inc. Regionals list of fastest-growing private companies, recognizing exceptional growth across a two-year span.
Camgian lands in Huntsville, Alabama, opening a new facility in October 2025.
