Camgian Hires Bryan Vandrovec to Advance Reactor® Kill Chain Automation

STARKVILLE, Miss. – April 2, 2026 — Camgian, a leader in AI-enabled defense technologies, today announced the addition of Bryan Vandrovec as Program Technical Manager, strengthening the company’s technical leadership as it advances the next generation of its Reactor® platform.
Mr. Vandrovec joins Camgian from Booz Allen Hamilton, where he served as Chief Technologist for Autonomy and AI Systems, leading the design and implementation of advanced architectures for mission-critical defense and national security programs. He brings more than 20 years of experience across government, defense, and aerospace domains, with deep expertise in AI-enabled autonomy, systems engineering, and complex operational integration.
At Camgian, Mr. Vandrovec will play a key role in advancing the technical architecture and system design of Reactor®, the company’s kill chain automation platform. Reactor provides real-time decisioning that translates sensor inputs into optimal effector actions at machine speed under operational constraints, within existing command and fire control architectures. These capabilities support critical missions across counter-UAS (C-UAS), air and missile defense (AMD), and space defense.
As engagement density and threat velocity continue to increase across contested domains, human-paced decision cycles and legacy engagement logic are becoming the limiting factors in effective defense operations. Reactor addresses this gap by enabling scalable, machine-speed decisioning precisely where traditional battle management and fire control systems struggle to keep pace.
In this role, Mr. Vandrovec will apply his experience in AI-enabled autonomous and decision-centric systems to accelerate Reactor’s evolution, strengthening its engagement decision logic and expanding its ability to operate seamlessly across multi-domain and cross-domain warfighting functions. His work will support Camgian’s mission to deliver scalable, high-confidence mission execution optimization, enabling defenders to maintain decision advantage as human-paced processes and legacy logic become insufficient under modern operational conditions.
Prior to Booz Allen Hamilton, Mr. Vandrovec held senior technical leadership roles at Leidos and other defense contractors, serving as an Autonomous Systems Solution Architect, Lead Software Architect, and Director of Special Projects. Throughout his career, he has supported high-stakes customers including NASA, NAVAIR, DARPA, the Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO), and the Office of the Director, Operational Test & Evaluation (DOT&E).
“Modern air, missile, and space defense are no longer constrained by sensors or interceptors—they’re constrained by the ability to make correct engagement decisions fast enough and at scale,” said Dr. Gary Butler, Chairman and CEO of Camgian. “Bryan brings deep experience building AI-enabled systems where precision, speed, trust, and architectural discipline are non-negotiable. His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to advance Reactor—addressing the growing decision bottleneck in contested environments and enabling our customers to operate with confidence as the pace and complexity of warfare continue to rise.”
Mr. Vandrovec earned a B.S. in Computer Science with honors from Cornell University and an M.S. in Systems Engineering with honors from Johns Hopkins University. He is credited as an inventor on three U.S. patents in computer imaging and geospatial visualization and is a member of both the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society and the International Test & Evaluation Association (ITEA).
“We’re very excited to welcome Bryan to Camgian,” said Muthu Nagarajan, Executive Vice President of Product Development. “His experience will accelerate our ability to deliver highly precise, mission-ready engagement decision automation solutions that integrate cleanly with our customers’ existing systems.”
“I’m excited to join Camgian at such a pivotal moment in defense technology innovation,” said Bryan Vandrovec. “The increasing complexity of multi-domain contested environments highlights the critical need for AI-enabled autonomy to support warfighters and maintain strategic advantage. Camgian’s focus on delivering decision advantage aligns perfectly with my passion for solving complex operational challenges, and I look forward to working with this talented team to deliver exceptional value to our partners.”
Mr. Vandrovec’s appointment underscores Camgian’s continued investment in technical excellence and its strategic focus on advancing mission execution optimization and engagement decision automation across air, missile, and space defense missions in support of the Department of War and allied partners.
