STARKVILLE, MS - MAY 1, 2025 — Camgian, a leader in artificial intelligence and machine learning for defense technology solutions, proudly announces Camgian Labs, an applied research and development initiative focused on high-risk, high-reward innovations in AI-driven kill chain automation (KCA). This strategic initiative underscores Camgian’s commitment to pioneering new technology and to delivering revolutionary capabilities.
Camgian Labs’ mandate is to rapidly prototype and evaluate novel ideas in ways that surpass traditional development constraints. By fostering an environment of bold experimentation and by harnessing advanced AI, the lab aims to create solutions that not only propel Camgian’s business forward but also redefine readiness for its customers.
“We’re excited to launch Camgian Labs, a dedicated innovation cell driving the development of breakthrough technologies in kill chain automation,” said Dr. Gary Butler, CEO of Camgian. “This initiative is focused on delivering the advanced capabilities required to power next-generation air and missile defense systems—like Golden Dome—enabling faster, multi-domain kill chain closure with revolutionary speed and lethality.”
The first initiative under Camgian Labs, Project Turing, will utilize advanced artificial intelligence techniques to adapt and optimize the performance of kill chain automation algorithms and software. This novel approach will be applied to Camgian’s flagship product, Reactor, to demonstrate a highly-differentiated and highly-performant KCA solution.
Camgian Labs will be led by Dr. Jeff Aristoff, Camgian’s Chief Innovation Officer, who holds a Ph.D. from MIT in Applied Mathematics and who has over 20 years of experience solving complex problems in aerospace and defense. “Project Turing is a game-changer for how we develop and deploy AI-enabled solutions,” said Dr. Aristoff. “It will accelerate our development cycles and deliver unmatched value to our customers through smarter, more adaptive systems.”
Camgian Labs marks a pivotal milestone in the company’s efforts to lead the defense industry in the production of innovative, mission-critical solutions. With efforts like Project Turing, the company is well-positioned to deliver impactful solutions that meet customer needs and drive the future of KCA.
