Accounting & Contracts Manager

The Accounting and Contracts Manager will lead finance, budgeting, and reporting for the company, and support costing/pricing and contract management functions across Camgian’s portfolio of contracts. The position will provide support to business development, specifically in reviewing solicitations, costing/pricing for proposals, and drafting of proposal budgets and notes.

The successful candidate will have exceptional accounting and financial reporting skills, along with experience in US government contracts and compliance, project budgeting, FAR compliance, and new business pricing and proposals. Reporting to the CFO, with exposure across program management and business development functions, the position offers strong opportunities for growth. Top candidates will have outstanding communication and report writing skills with superb technical ability.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.

  • 5-8 years of professional experience supporting the management of an accounting department.

  • Demonstrated understanding of financial, administrative, and compliance requirements of DoD contracts.

  • Must be flexible enough to undertake a number of finance and contracting functions simultaneously and thrive in a dynamic environment.

  • Experience in financial reporting, FAR, and contracts compliance.

  • Thorough understanding of GAAP.

  • Experience supporting business development efforts, including cost proposals.

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with an investigative nature.

  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience managing accounting/ERP systems.

  • Demonstrated communication and coordination skills.

  • Record of professional growth, high standards for ethics and integrity, and ambition for success.

  • Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines.

  • Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks, lead the month-end closing and reporting process.

  • Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Provide financial insight and analysis to drive business performance.

  • Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reporting.

  • Contracts management, including drafting and reviewing with partners, consultants, subcontractors, prime contractors, and vendors.

  • Conducting compliance reviews of new and ongoing contracts, initiating modifications, and updating as required.

  • Support business development efforts through review of solicitations, costing/pricing, and drafting of proposal budgets and accompanying cost narratives, documentation, and certifications,

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
