Meet Camgian: Taylor - Senior Hardware Engineer

Updated: Aug 5, 2022

What’s Your Favorite Thing About Working at Camgian?

Collaboration. Camgian is a company where individual successes are acknowledged and highlighted, but we recognize that to succeed against our competitors, we have to be the best team. We are constantly working to improve the collaboration between individuals to expose blind spots and build our many strengths into an unstoppable force. We succeed because knowledge is not withheld by those in senior positions, but is filtered throughout the entire organization such that effective decisions can be made to steer our direction.

Why Should Someone Work at Camgian?

There are several great reasons for working at Camgian. If you are interested in participating in the cutting edge of the technology space, we are the spot for you. If you want to be challenged with hard problems with unknown solutions, we are the spot for you. If you want to work in your local community or state, but have a technology degree that isn’t as celebrated regionally, we are the spot for you. Camgian offers incredible opportunities for individual growth and community outreach.

What’s Been Your Proudest Moment at Camgian?

My proudest moment at Camgian has been listening to direct customer feedback received in the field on the usefulness of our products and the elite support of our team. I am proud that we have established a reputation for delivering reputable products through an elite team of personnel. Our clients trust that we will work tirelessly on difficult problems to deliver solutions that make their lives easier.

What Are Your Hobbies?

I have several different hobbies. I enjoy reading with my daughter, working on projects around my home, and tending my yard. I also like to contribute to community service projects in the Starkville area. My past time is usually best spent spending time with my family and taking road trips. I also occasionally play PC games.

What's an Interesting Fact About You?

I was one of the three original students for Mississippi State University’s Engineering on the Coast program. While it started from humble beginnings, the program now supports much larger classes for ECE, ME, and IE curriculums and enables the coastal communities of MS to have a lifeline to the engineering talent generated by MSU. Without this program, there’s a good chance I wouldn’t be in the position I am today.
