The MIT and Cambridge alum held senior technical positions at Northrop Grumman and will bring decades of AI and machine learning expertise to Camgian’s development programs.
STARKVILLE, MS – MAY 16, 2023 – Camgian Corporation, an award-winning technology company, announced today the hiring of Dr. Clay Stanek as its Chief Scientist. In this role, Dr. Stanek will drive innovations for the company in advanced artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and algorithmic decision-making.
Dr. Stanek brings 30 years of experience in scientific development and leadership to Camgian. Previously, he served as Chief Technologist for the Army Analytics Group at Peraton Corporation where he provided direct oversight of AI programs aimed at addressing cyberthreats to the Army. He has also held various senior engineering positions at Northrop Grumman, where he developed AI-enabled multi-sensor fusion capabilities that supported high-fidelity target position, ID, and intent estimations.

Dr. Stanek holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge, where he was a member of Darwin College, and Bachelor of Science Degrees in Aero/Astro Engineering and Mathematics from MIT.
