STARKVILLE, MS, – 21 January 2020– Camgian Microsystems Corporation announced today that it closed a record year in 2019. Driven by growth in its defense and financial technologies businesses, the company achieved record annual revenue and secured its largest-ever year-end contract backlog. This included the organic expansion of its alternative data products in the financial technology sector and the launch of a new data distribution and analytics platform, Egburt AlphaX®. Additionally in 2019, the company grew its workforce in Mississippi and Alabama achieving a record employee base comprising AI, software, hardware, and production engineering personnel. This expansion included the opening of the company’s new Center for AI and Machine Learning in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and the establishment of a new team dedicated to the development of advanced AI and machine learning technologies supporting its core product lines and research in defense and finance.
