STARKVILLE, MS – 05 December 2018 – Camgian Microsystems Corporation today announces the addition of Colonel Doug Gosney as Vice President of Defense Programs. In this new role, Gosney will be leading Camgian’s efforts in the area of national security with a focus on work with the Department of Defense (DoD) and the intelligence community.
Col. Gosney recently retired from the Air Force after serving for more than 23 years. He received his commission through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at Utah State University in 1995. He graduated Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training at Sheppard AFB, Texas and was operationally assigned to the B-52H. Gosney previously served as Commander of the 2d Operations Group, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana and Commander, 69thBomb Squadron, Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota. He is a command pilot with over 3,300 hours in primarily B-52H and T-38A/C aircraft, serving as an Instructor and Evaluator in both. He has deployed and/or supported numerous operations in the defense of the United States. Gosney retires as the Wing Commander of the 14th Flying Training Wing at Columbus Air Force Base in Columbus, Mississippi. Gosney was a Defense Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and completed the Executive Development Program at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School.
