Camgian CEO to Speak at M2M & IoT Global Summit

Starkville, MS – Camgian Microsystems announced today that chairman and CEO, Gary Butler, will speak at the 2013 M2M & Internet of Things Global Summit in Washington, D.C. scheduled for October 1 and 2 at the National Press Club. Butler’s presentation, “Sensor Enabled Enterprise M2M Platforms: Improving Operational Efficiency and Profitability,” will take place on October 2 at 9:15 AM. The M2M & IoT Global Summit provides a high-level meeting point for all representatives from the global M2M and IoT communities.

In his session, Butler will discuss how Camgian’s Quantus Enterprise M2M Platform is enabling organizations to more effectively manage remote industrial assets and improve operational efficiency. Butler’s presentation is a portion of a session entitled “IoT Devices in the 4G Era.” Also, presenting during this session are representatives from Walmart Stores, Inc., Samsung Electronics, AT&T, 4G Americas, and the European Commission. During this session, presenters will address the following topics: what technology choices are available to businesses today and what needs to be done to maximize innovation associated with those technologies and applications.
