2009 Mississippi Company to Watch

Mississippi Companies to Watch is a unique program inspiring Mississippi companies and communities presented by the Mississippi Technology Alliance in association with the Edward Lowe Foundation. It celebrates high-performing, second-stage companies that drive Mississippi’s economy and innovation and who are known for their performance in the marketplace, innovative products, unique processes or philanthropic actions.

Governor's Cup Award

The Mississippi Development Authority, in partnership with the Office of the Governor and the Mississippi Economic Development Council (MEDC), recognizes private sector businesses that have had a significant impact within their local community through the Governor’s Cup Awards.  These awards, one of the highest given by the Governor, are given to honor businesses for their contributions, raise the general awareness about their successful efforts, and showcase their results.
