Camgian Microsystems Closes Strong 2008 Government Fiscal Year
STARKVILLE, M.S. – October 3, 2008 – Camgian Microsystems Corporation, provider of advanced engineering solutions for defense, intelligence and homeland security, today announced that it has closed a very successful government fiscal year.
"During the last 12 months, we have made significant progress in expanding our government defense and homeland security business through a number of key contract wins and technology development partnerships", said CEO Gary Butler. Fiscal Strength – Increased government contract wins by more than 300% over this time in 2007. These new contracts build on Camgian's extensive experience in microelectronics and sensor design and include advanced technology development programs with new customers within the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security.

Strategic Alliance – Received highly coveted mentor-protégé designation by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security through a strategic alliance with DRS Technologies (www.drs.com). The DHS program is designed to foster long-term business relationships between large prime contractors and small business including strengthening subcontracting opportunities.

Key Partnerships – Launched joint technology development programs with a number of key industry partners including BAE North America, DRS Technologies, Ultralife Batteries, Codetronix and Applied Physical Sciences.
