Camgian Networks Supports Air Force SBIR Technology Programs

STARKVILLE, MS – August 3, 2007 – Camgian Networks announced its selection by Theseus Research Inc. and Codetronix LLC to be a subcontractor on Air Force SBIR Phase 1 programs.

Through the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Program, the Air Force is supporting the development and demonstration of an asynchronous System-On-a-Chip (SOC) design, synthesis, and simulation tool suite for GPS User Equipment (UE) applications that mitigates Single Event Effects (SEE) and Total Ionizing Dose (TID) radiation effects.

As a result of its proven asynchronous technology, NULL Convention Logic™ (NCL™), Camgian Networks has been selected by both Theseus Research and Codetronix to support their Air Force Phase 1 SBIR contracts. These programs will build an asynchronous design methodology that is scaleable, retargetable and provides robust designs that work reliably under all conditions of military environments. Novel design solutions that provide large (>50kgate) correct-by-design asynchronous logic blocks and their integration at the chip scale are to be investigated.

Theseus Research (TRI) was founded in 1990 to develop a set of concepts about computer science called the Invocation Model and their practical applications. The concepts of the Invocation Model have practical applications in the realm of digital logic design, computer architecture and programming languages. In 1994, TRI began the development of the digital logic design applications and in 1996 spun out Theseus Logic Inc. to commercialize NULL Convention Logic.

TRI is currently developing the architecture and language applications of the Invocation Model and applying these to demonstrate unique programmable processor architectures.
